There Are Many Ways To Be Complicit
One of the things that really irks me with my situation with Shawn is all the complicit people in it who don’t share my story or try to silence me by telling me to move on and let it go and be complicit in what Shawn is doing as well.
If anyone looks at the definition of complicit is pretty much makes it clear that any wrongdoing, not just crimes, that you are aware of and do nothing about makes you complicit in it.
There are many ways to be complicit in a crime or wrongdoing:
1. Silence.
2. Victim blaming/shaming.
3. Trying to silence the victim.
4. Not spreading the truth.
5. Calling the victim a liar.
6. Watching someone do something wrong or illegal and say nothing or not call the police.
The list literally can go on for ages as there are many forms of complicity another great example is:
Many who stayed silent during the Holocaust were complicit in the deaths of millions of people.
The truth of the matter is many are complicit in the wrong that is happening to me and trying to silence me or telling me to move on and let it go. Sorry if you can ease your conscious but I cannot, I’m not going to be complicit in someone’s wrong. Truth and justice need to prevail.
