Coming Out to My Car As I Found It

So I posted about this on Twitter the other day and posted these pics where I found my car where someone wrote these derogatory things on it and I panicked.

Imagine what was going through my mind. I was worried about the safety of my car cause first off it’s not even in my name and so I had to give the car back to the person who’s name it is in cause what happens if this escalated or they had done something else to vandalize it?

This is something no person should have to put up with or should be put through. This is the stuff we normalize by doing nothing, ignoring and allowing and forcing someone to let a homophobe to appear right. These types of behaviors get normalized.

I know this could have ended up being a one time incident but than again it may have not been and it wasn’t a risk I was willing to take which is why I gave the car back but I shouldn’t have had to give up my means of transportation cause of this disgusting normalized behavior.
